Computer Hardware Problems
We can fix all kinds of hardware problems from a faulty mouse to a pc that won't boot up at all. Most hardware problems needn't mean replacing you computer and can often be easily fixed by replacing the faulty part.
We can advise you on the best (and cheapest!) places to buy these parts or buy them for you and we always give you an estimate of the cost before carrying out any repairs. If a pc is beyond repair, we can also assist and advise in the purchasing of a replacement.
Viruses, Adware & Spyware
Probably the biggest problem suffered these days is that of virus infection or adware and spyware - or 'scumware' as we like to call it! If you find that when you go online you are getting adverts 'popped' at you or when you try to go to a particular website you end up somewhere else, then we can help.
We can remove all viruses and spyware whilst leaving your valuable data intact. We can also install free antivirus software and free anti-spyware software, if required, to prevent re-infection.
Windows & Software Problems
If you are fed up with being told that 'Windows has encountered a problem...' when you try and run programs, we can help there too. Often software problems can be caused just by using the pc!
As time goes on your once fast pc will become slower and slower as the temporary files build up and your files become broken and spread randomly across you hard drive. However, this can be fixed and we can advise you on simple routines to carry out to prevent this happening again.
Often problems with Windows become so bad that it maybe less time consuming to re-install the software from scratch. If this option is required, all of your valuable documents are removed from the computer and added back again once the computer has been re-built.
